Bonnie is staring at a clump of hair she just combed off Midgee looking for walking dandruff. Whew! The dandruff doesn't walk. It's just dandruff. Since I've been working here I've learned a lot of stuff I never would have known about in a million years! Who knew there were white mites? Bonnie says they look like space aliens under the microscope. I think I'll pass on investigating them further.

There's a long letter from Sadie's new person on the bulletin board detailing exactly how Sadie got introduced to the house and the other cat etc. Apparently Sadie is settling in just fine. Next thing you know she'll be a lap cat.

Joey is terrorizing every feline in sight. Jaguar is in a bad mood. Whiskers is sulking in the laundry room. Even Midgee is being a little testy and she's usually a mush. Must be the phase of the moon, the height of the tide, the Lyrid meteor showers or something. Or just spring.

Pookie and Rex came down with a URI so they're in the sick room. Roy wasn't sure he could dry dishes without Pookie rolling over on the counter next to the dish drainer, but he made do without Pookie's help. And we were done by 11:00.

Jaguar's mood improved and I got to pet him for a long time before I left. He was even head butting me and purring a little, so whatever was bothering him earlier must've gotten resolved.

I ate lunch at Angelina's without any chairs falling on my head.

Despite two showers and a morning spent up to my elbows in bleach water, the red gel pen hasn't washed off my arm. The purple is all gone, so it doesn't look like a drawing of a face anymore, just a few very red dots. At least they don't walk...
